The story begins before the Hub had a formal structure

Since 2022, European Conferences United has brought many of us together through Solution Provider Week events, focused dinners and, later, Stage Labs. Many of us who now serve as Navigators were already part of that history.

On 13 January 2026, we met in Warsaw to help determine what Poland & CEE Retail Summit 2026 needed to cover on 14 and 15 April. The session strengthened the Summit programme, but the conversation went further.

Across very different solution areas, we recognised the same client-side barriers to innovation.

What we recognised

Three client-side barriers kept turning across different solution areas.

The Hub and the Club of 369

Four recurring formats make the Hub tangible without making participation heavy.

01

A strong solution is not enough
if the client organisation is not ready

Retailers and consumer-goods companies may see the value of a solution but still
lack a clear priority, an accountable owner, reliable data, implementation capacity or the right team.

02

Client-side decision-makers must be able to carry the risk

Inside client organisations, no decision can feel safer than a decision that might fail. Progress requires the right people, shared responsibility and a clear view of the consequences of both acting and waiting.

03

Innovation changes how the client organisation works

A new solution cannot create its full value when roles, processes, incentives and cooperation between departments are expected to remain unchanged.

The relationship already existed

Earlier Solution Provider Week events, dinners and working meetings show the continuity behind the Hub.

What Changed

These were not isolated sales problems. They were recurring market obstacles across very different solution areas.

We saw that our combined experience could help the industry understand why useful innovations stall, which conditions clients need before they can move and what helps a solution survive implementation.

The Solution Providers Hub gives that work a permanent, year-round structure. The insights can continue through living Solution Landscapes, 369DI Playbooks and future Retail Summit cycles instead of disappearing after one meeting.

Retail Summit Remains part of the story

Retail Summit Remains part of the story

That broader purpose continues to strengthen Retail Summit. Throughout the year, the Hub helps European Conferences United identify which decisions, obstacles and solution questions the Summit needs to cover.

At Retail Summit, many of us meet again with retailers, consumer-goods leaders and the wider industry. What we learn there strengthens the next Hub and Retail Summit cycle.

the larger purpose behind them became clear."
